Another great camping trip

Happy birthday, Colt

Colt has turned into one of the sweetest, hardest working, initiative-taking kids I've ever known. If there's work to be done, he's right in the middle of it. He's always the first up in the morning and the first down at night.
When he was born 9 years ago, it was so cold and raining. It was the hardest, most horrible labor I've ever went through. I will never forget that day...October 21, 2009. But none of that matters now. He is the sweetest kid.
He started walking when he was 8 months old. We couldn't believe it.

He asked the Lord to save him several weeks ago and I can see the Lord working in his heart. That's all I've ever wanted for my boys is for them to love the Lord and let Him work in their hearts.

Camping

Our family had a blast camping last week. It rained that first night and was cold the next morning but after that it was perfect camping weather. We didn't want to come home Haha
We always take our two dogs with us. They love it as much as we do. But this time we took our cat. All she wanted to do was sleep on our bed. It's so nice to get away from everything...no cell phones, no computer...and just enjoy the beautiful world God has made. Every morning after breakfast was all cleaned up and the kids were playing I would take a long slow stroll by myself and just think and pray and dwell on God's many blessings in my life. He has been so good to me. And I know I say that all the time, but He truly is so good and so merciful and so loving. I love Him so much. And I'm so thankful for times like these to just enjoy my family.
