Christmas at our house

Even though a nasty stomach virus raged it's way through our family this Christmas, it was still a wonderful day. Not because of all the gifts, presents, lights, decorations...but because I have my family with me, safe and sound. We woke up to a roof over our heads, clothes on our backs, and plenty to eat. Wow! Has God been good to us! All the time!
Merry Christmas from the Crass family!!
Zek and I were the first ones up...waiting on everyone else ;)

He's ready!

Boy, does he love his trains

Church Christmas program

Here are a few pictures of our church's Christmas program. It turned out so good. The kids had a great time telling the real story of Jesus' birth. After all, that's what it's all about isn't it? Jesus, coming from Heaven to be born and live among the human race, then dying on the cross for all our sins. Three days later, he rose from the dead and is waiting in Heaven for all who choose to believe in Him. That's what Christmas is all about!
Merry Christmas
The entire cast

The two cutest little shepherds I've ever seen ;)

"son" and "mother"

The "angel" taking the "son"  "Back to the Manger"

Zek made a very good Joseph ;)

Gunners surgery

Gunner had his hand surgery today. All went well...thanks be to God
We got there at 5:30 and the surgery was scheduled for 7. Around 7:15 they hadn't heard from the Dr. They started trying to reach him and he didn't have it on his schedule. So he arrived and they got started around 8
It took about an hour.
He has a bandage that looks like a cast. He has to keep that on for 2 weeks. The hard part is gonna be trying to keep him still.
Thank you to everyone for praying, for texting, for the gifts, and for checking on him. God is so good.

This is when we first arrived
They gave him an ipad to play with
This is what his hand looked like before the operation
He is feeling no pain. This is after happy juice. He had us cracking up
After recovery...waiting to go home
Dressed and ready to leave
A bit more awake now. He got 5 stuffed toys and wants to hold them all :)

Mini vacay

Our family just got back from a 3 day vacation. Had a wonderful time away.  The kids really enjoyed themselves.  It was a very nice resort in Sevierville.  Hope to go back soon. When we got home we took a 3 hour nap...now that's a vacation lol

He approves ;)

We also celebrated Colts 8th birthday...he loves Dude Perfect

We could not keep them out of these things

And when we headed out for a day of souvenir shopping they all chose bows and arrows.

Fell between the cushions and could not get out
