We had wonderful services yesterday. We were blessed to have Bro. David Gibbs, the founder and president of CLA. He is an awesome man of God that is used greatly all over the country defending the Christian faith. We have a tradition in our family to have a picture taken with him every year he is here. The Lord did a work in my heart yesterday and I am so thankful for that. The Sunday School hour he taught from II Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy... ~ Having true J-O-Y ~ Jesus first, Others second, You last. Then the morning's message was from Matthew 5~Being a 2nd mile Christian~going above and beyond~going the second mile for others. The evening's message was from Psalm 91 ~ Staying in the Secret Place. Very convicting messages and I'm thankful the Lord sent him our way.
