Happy New Year!

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and everyone is safe and healthy. But most of all hope everyone had a "Christ" filled Christmas. That's what it's all about. God has been so good.  I want to wish everyone a wonderful new year. Hope it is filled with safety and health but more importantly,  I hope we all draw closer to the Lord in this new year. That being said, I want to share my favorite verses with you. Lamentations 3:22-23 It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed,  because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
So I just wanted to start this year off sharing my favorite Bible passage and here are a few photos of the past year. Love to all

Gunner in Sunday School with his cousins, Eva and Allie with powdered donuts all over their faces :)

This was a very scary morning. We woke up to our woods on fire right below our back yard. Our neighbors had accidently started it. By the time the firefighters got there it had almost reached our yard. So thankful everything turned out ok and no one was hurt.

Braden and Deseree

Ryder and Shelby...I sure love these girls

My precious Mom and Dad

Braden got to meet head coach Holly Warlick and brought me a signed basketball home :)

Our miracle niece and nephew, Kyeli and Dane

Merry "Christ"mas from the Crass family
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Revival...I have found several definitions of this word, but the one I like best is "to live again." We just came out of revival with Bro. Andy Wells and it was wonderful. He dealt with discouragement, depression, and the devil. I guess that's why that definition seemed so fitting and why I liked it best. The Lord really helped me this week. I don't understand why folks think "revival" has to be hollering and shouting and running the aisles. And while that can be good and has it's place, sometimes the best "revivals" simply come quietly, like God's still small voice that Bro. Wells preached about in I Kings. God strengthens His people gradually, over His time. I am still feasting on the messages I heard this week and am so thankful for them. I always enjoy hearing Bro. Wells bring the Word. I left the meeting with these thoughts...God's too good...Heaven's too sweet...Hell's too hot...and my family's too precious to quit now. And how fitting that we are coming upon the Thanksgiving season because we have so much to thank Him for.

Family day at the park

I love this time of year. I love the the leaves...just love it all. Today, we decided to go to the park and spend the day together. Well, some of us anyway. My two bigger boys don't much hang out with us anymore. They work all the time and are just getting their own lives and friends (sigh). But it's a new season for them as well and I'm happy for them. Anyway, my mother in law came with us today and we grilled burgers, the boys fished, and we just had a good time. The weather was perfect.
Well, lookie there...Ryder DID decide to spend a few minutes with us before he went to work lol...he and Gunner are big buddies :)
Ok, so you're prolly wondering...what is that thing floating in the water? Well, those were the worms Gunner threw off the deck. Zek threw his hands up in the air and said, "Well, there goes the more worms." lol Yep, that Gunner can sure be a mean one.
Such a beautiful day
Oh will my boys ever know how much I love them!!
My precious husband...I just don't know what I'd do without him!

Happy Birthday, Colt...the big 7!!

Today, Colt is 7! He has become one of the sweetest 7 year olds I have ever known. And no, I don't say this simply because I am his mother, but because so many others say it of him as well. He is truly a sweetheart. He is such a good boy...always helping...always doing something. It doesn't matter what it is. If it needs doing, he'll do it. He's never idle. He's always busy. That's why he goes to sleep first and sleeps the hardest haha He is truly a gift from the Lord and a real blessing to this family. We love him so much.

Here he is the day he was born. They had to take him via c-section after being in labor for several hours. He simply would not come out. It was the worst labor and recovery ever, but he was so very worth it!

Happy Birthday, man...we love you so much!!
