Catching up
Hey all...got lots to catch up on so I won't say a whole lot lol People mostly like pictures anyway ;) Let's see...where to begin. Well, we had a horrible hail storm a few weeks ago. In my lifetime I don't ever remember it hailing so much for so long. I thought it would never stop. Scott had taken Colt to the ER because he had hurt his hand on the trampoline. I was at home with a couple little ones when it started getting awfully dark. The power went out too. Kinda scary.
Then a few pictures of a day at the park and a trip to the mountains.
Then on April 3rd Zek turned 9! Here's a few of his party.
And last of all, we got a new puppy. Her name is Leia. She is part Golden Retriever and Australian Shepherd. The kids have been wanting a puppy forever so we looked for days and felt she was a perfect fit for us.
And last but certainly not least, I just want to thank God for His blessings in my life. He has been so good and gracious to me and my family and I want to give Him all the glory and praise for all He has done.

Happy New Year!
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and everyone is safe and healthy. But most of all hope everyone had a "Christ" filled Christmas. That's what it's all about. God has been so good. I want to wish everyone a wonderful new year. Hope it is filled with safety and health but more importantly, I hope we all draw closer to the Lord in this new year. That being said, I want to share my favorite verses with you. Lamentations 3:22-23 It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
So I just wanted to start this year off sharing my favorite Bible passage and here are a few photos of the past year. Love to all

Gunner in Sunday School with his cousins, Eva and Allie with powdered donuts all over their faces :)
This was a very scary morning. We woke up to our woods on fire right below our back yard. Our neighbors had accidently started it. By the time the firefighters got there it had almost reached our yard. So thankful everything turned out ok and no one was hurt.
Braden and Deseree
Ryder and Shelby...I sure love these girls
My precious Mom and Dad
Braden got to meet head coach Holly Warlick and brought me a signed basketball home :)

Revival
Revival...I have found several definitions of this word, but the one I like best is "to live again." We just came out of revival with Bro. Andy Wells and it was wonderful. He dealt with discouragement, depression, and the devil. I guess that's why that definition seemed so fitting and why I liked it best. The Lord really helped me this week. I don't understand why folks think "revival" has to be hollering and shouting and running the aisles. And while that can be good and has it's place, sometimes the best "revivals" simply come quietly, like God's still small voice that Bro. Wells preached about in I Kings. God strengthens His people gradually, over time...in His time. I am still feasting on the messages I heard this week and am so thankful for them. I always enjoy hearing Bro. Wells bring the Word. I left the meeting with these thoughts...God's too good...Heaven's too sweet...Hell's too hot...and my family's too precious to quit now. And how fitting that we are coming upon the Thanksgiving season because we have so much to thank Him for.
