Revival

Our church just had a week long meeting with Bro. Andy Wells. He is a great man of God and a phenomenal preacher. He is so filled with wisdom and knowledge. I'm still feasting on the messages we heard this week.  He dealt with different subjects...things you wouldn't normally call "revival" messages.  But actually if these truths would take root in our hearts they would truly bring revival to our homes, our communities, our churches and our country. He dealt with the real true history of America...the one you don't read in the texts books in America's public schools. He dealt with having charity, being hospitable. . .among other things.  Last night he gave a great sermon on the one sin that you may be passing down to your children and grandchildren causing future generations to consistently struggle in that area. The devil will continue to use that sin if it works to make us fall. We need to "break that chain" as Joseph did in Genesis 39 when he refused to sin in the manner of his forefathers. I'm just so thankful to the Lord for these truths and am praying that He will work them in my heart, my family's heart, the church's heart and let us have revival.
